Joseph Kony and Refugees in Northern Uganda : Moving Past Conflict

During the 20 year insurgency caused by Joseph Kony and his Lords Resistance Army, Northern Uganda once a peaceful and happy area turned into a blood bath. Over 66.000 children abducted and turned into child soldiers,150.000 men,women and children killed and over 2.000.000 people forced to live in Internally Displaced People’s camps. Families separated, hopes and dreams of ever returning home shuttered with no possibility of a future. This video shows that there is Hope for Northern Uganda and its people by showing what it means to return home. Even with burnt structures and killed livestock,home remains the place everyone would love to return.
